ARMS Member Chapter Travel Awards

Each ARMS Chapter Committee has been allocated AUD $2,000 for its annual Chapter Travel Awards.  Chapter Travel Awards provide support to eligible ARMS members to affray some of the costs (flights, accommodation or conference registration) to attend the Adelaide conference.

At least two awards per Chapter (a minimum of 18 awards in total) will be available this round.  Each Chapter Committee will award a minimum of two (2) Travel Awards to eligible ARMS members at AUD $1,000 each or smaller awards, for example 4 x $500 awards at its discretion.

University Office Travel Award

University Office is pleased to be offering additional support again in 2019 for a current Accredited Research Manager (Foundation) to attend the Adelaide conference.

The 2019 University Office Travel Award shall be used to support attendance to the annual conference and will provide full conference registration (not including pre-conference); a single, return economy direct flight to Adelaide from a capital city in Australia; and accommodation for three nights via ARMS’ preferred accommodation providers at the conference, conditions apply.

RMIT University Paul Taylor Travel Scholarship

Dr Paul Taylor was an outstanding leader in the research management profession within Australia and around the world.   He passed away suddenly in November 2018.

Through the generous support of RMIT University, ARMS is pleased to announce a new travel award in 2019 RMIT University – Paul Taylor Travel Scholarship to honour the life of an exemplary, well regarded and inspiring leader.  Funding support of $AUD 3,000 is available for one current Accredited Research Manager (Foundation), conditions apply.
